My Story
My love for travel started on a whim — a spontaneous trip to Morocco that changed everything. I landed in Marrakech with a backpack, a camera, and no plan. I got lost in the medina, shared mint tea with strangers, and watched the sunset over the Atlas Mountains. That trip awakened something in me.
Over the next few years, I visited 25+ countries, documenting everything. Friends kept asking for tips, itineraries, and recommendations. So I started writing — detailed guides, honest reviews, and personal stories. What began as a blog grew into Haikou_CGM: a home for everything I've learned about traveling the world.
Today, this platform is my way of giving back to the travel community. Whether you're a first-time solo traveler or a seasoned explorer, I hope these resources help you plan your next adventure.

My Journey
